Abandoned Paradise

Lucas Mercer has always been fascinated by the locations where time has left its traces. He uses a camera as an explorative tool to explore abandoned locations with their walls whispering about their past. During a solo sailing voyage across the tropical waters, Lucas sees something unusual, namely, a tiny island emerging in the water with an old-fashioned beach cabin that can be spotted between the palm trees. The young man becomes curious, and he heads towards the shore.The cabin looks a bit dilapidated, yet cozy, with the pure sand and the clear blue water surrounding it. Lucas walks into the cabin and starts looking for any remnants of the family which used to live there. Photographs, letters, various memorabilia help him see how happy and loving people the residents were. Step by step, Lucas starts figuring out the reason why the place has been abandoned. It turns out that the desertion hides warmth and priceless memories of the happy family.Follow Lucas on his journey through every corner of the forsaken island to capture the beauty of it and to honor the family which had their own happy life there before leaving this place forever.
