Behind The Lines

There is no justice in the war. Someone is victorious, someone is losing their battle, but all of this is intertwined with so many things that threaten human life, so there are also many inhumane things. However, love for the country makes many people become professional soldiers. All because of the desire to defend the country from external threats. Soldier James Adler wakes up after a series of bombs and realizes that he is in enemy territory, none of his squad is nearby, his radio station is disabled, and he must find a way to cross enemy territory and return to his friends safely. Beneath the hush of enemy terrain, he moves like a shadow through the tall grass—one man behind the lines, far from reinforcements and radio signal. His uniform is dusted with the grit of places maps have forgotten, his heart pulsing to the rhythm of distant gunfire. He isn't just surviving; he is remembering—faces, voices, warmth. Quietly, deliberately, he rewrites the meaning of courage.
